Today I’m reviewing Blood for Blood, the incredible sequel to Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin.

To start off, Wolf by Wolf was an absolutely amazing story and I loved it so much, but honestly, Blood for Blood raised this duology to a whole other level. These books have cemented Ryan Graudin as a legend in my eyes.

Hey guys! I’m here today to have a quick chat about an amazing Melbourne festival that’s on at this very moment!

The Emerging Writers’ Festival is an incredible opportunity for young writers to immerse themselves in the world of books! The EWF offers heaps of fun and interesting masterclasses, panels and other events that are so inspiring to be a part of. It’s on right now and goes until the 23rd of June! This year I actually decided to volunteer at the EWF this year. It was a great decision and I’d REALLY recommend it to anyone who wants to work in the book industry in any way because it’s a great chance to make connections and meet authors, publishers and other bookish friends!

New story up on Wattpad! I wrote this piece ‘The Soldier and The Spy’ last year in one of my uni classes. It’s a period piece, set after WWII. My main focus for this piece was the dialogue and the character development.

I think that writing pieces like this has really helped me to become a better writer. I usually pick an idea and a thing I want to improve and I focus on that as I write. It’s a super helpful way to improve your skills. I also love character driven writing and so a big part of this piece was the characters and their interactions.

Here’s a little sneak peak. For more, head over to my Wattpad account AmyWritesXO!
