I think I’ve found my favourite book of 2017 and it is most certainly The Diviners by Libba Bray!

I’ve had The Diviners on my bookshelf for about a year and finally decided to try it. Thank God I did.

The story follows Evie O’Neil, a girl with cool supernatural powers, who is sent to New York City after an incident in her hometown. Evie goes to live with her uncle, William Fitzgerald who runs ‘The Museum of the Creepy Crawlies’, properly referred to as the Museum of American Folklore, Superstition, and the Occult.

Today I’m reviewing Blood for Blood, the incredible sequel to Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin.

To start off, Wolf by Wolf was an absolutely amazing story and I loved it so much, but honestly, Blood for Blood raised this duology to a whole other level. These books have cemented Ryan Graudin as a legend in my eyes.

I’m so filled with emotions after finishing this book!

Undoubtedly this has become a favourite series/duology for me! I loved every part of Crooked Kingdom and I’m craving another book with my darling Kaz at the lead.

If you aren’t aware of this duology (where have you been for the past year???) then let me catch you up!

The first thing that needs to be mentioned is that I really disliked the first book in this series. A Court of Thorns and Roses was a seriously disappointing read for me, so much so that I gave it a 2 star review… I was not interested in continuing to read the series until I saw some kick ass fan art and read some review that made me hyped for it! I’m so glad I listened to the reviews and feel in love with the fan art because I LOVED THIS BOOK! I’ve even given it 5 stars! I can’t believe it but I’m actually very excited for the rest of the series!

This is the third book in the Lunar Chronicles!

Cress follows on from the previous book Scarlet and we are introduced to the titular character, Cress. She’s been seen before in the previous books but now she really comes into focus. Cress is a crazy smart tech genius. She’s the Rapunzel inspired character in the series and she absolutely kicks ass!
