Finally a new review! I’ve been so, so slack with my review writing but this was a book I couldn’t ignore.

Today I’m reviewing The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee. If you’re into pirates, historic settings and crazy adventures then this is going to be your jam. View Full Post

Today’s review is for ‘Before the Devil Breaks You’ by Libba Bray! It’s the third book in her ‘Diviners’ Series. Sorry, I haven’t posted a review for book two, I never got around to writing it! But anyway, book three is a strong continuation of this series and it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. View Full Post

It’s NaNoWriMo day 22 and I have written approx 200 words! WOO!

I swear, I tried! I started off very hopeful but, as has been the norm for the last few NaNos, life got in the way. It’s an easy excuse but it’s all I’ve got.

For one of my university classes, I decided to write a companion novella for my main novel ‘The Witches of Belle River’. It is a novella titled ‘Shadow Man’!

Novel Journal!

I’ve never been much of a journaler. I always forget to continue journaling and end up with heaps of unfinished journals. For my university class, Novel 2, I have been keeping a journal and it’s been such a learning curb for me.

My little journal is a great place to keep all my ideas and to write down inspiration. I try and do a little bit each week to help keep me interested and inspired.
