This post has been in the making for a while! Apologies for my hiatus, uni stress and WordPress media issue got the best of me. But here we are, back with some more Bookstore appreciation!

This gorgeous bookstore is nestled in the heart of Hawthorn, in Australia. It’s a fantastic spot and one that I would visit very often during my days at university. Social Media is a great tool for writers, both new and established. Social Media allows us to connect with other writers, to our favourite authors and to a possible readership. It’s a great tool (and maybe a hindrance) but it’s a bit of fun too. I love following other writers on social media, especially established writers and today we’re going to chat about some of my favourite social savvy writers.

In December of 2017, I went to America with my bestie, Georgia! This trip was a year in the making and one of the coolest experiences of my life.

Los Angeles

We started our trip in LA for two days and even though it was winter the weather was glorious! We went on a Hop On, Hop Off bus and got to experience Santa Monica Pier. We walked the Hollywood Walk of Fame and ate an obnoxiously big meal at the Hardrock Cafe.

Welcome to my super random Halloween post!

I have always wanted to carve a pumpkin. It’s been a bucket list goal for me but I have never had a chance to actually do it. Usually, I end up working Halloween or something else comes up. Halloween is really not that big a deal in Australia. There are definitely people who celebrate it and try to go trick or treating but it’s not as big a holiday here as it is in America.

I am working this Halloween, but  I had a whole weekend off work and so I decided to go and pick up a pumpkin, because why not?
